In this case I forced the connection to be TCP/IP.
I just fixed a computer with this problem by removing all the printers and starting over.
Only WSD seems to be a common element but then it remains confusing.įor example, I found a P2035n with WSD NOT enabled but using WSD on a computer anyway. While I have attempted to install all printers with a tCP/IP port and have attempted to turn off WSD on the printer(s) when possible, I'm not the only printer installer on computers and printers are introduced without my involvement. I tend to attribute this behaviour to WSD. Actually, it is "print without end" until we shut things down and start over. The problem is printing multiple copies of the same print job - including test pages. Recently, selected users started having problems with at least the P2035n printers and, possibly, others. The sites have one or two HP Laserjet P2035n printers connected via Ethernet as network printers.
I have 2 or 3 sites which are mostly using Windows 7 computers.
